Unterstützte Schnittstellen

Data Diode vs. Firewall

It has been proven by numerous independent and extensive security and penetration tests. Data Diodes are based on hardened hardware and software providing a maximum of confidentiality and segmentation between networks, whereas Firewalls do not have such capabilities.

Data Diodes do not check data packets like SPI firewalls (this is intensive and time consuming). They create a secure network separation by segmenting between networks. Firewalls are weak to attacks, OS security gaps and misconfiguration, which Data Diodes are not.

Furthermore, other than Firewalls, Data Diodes do not require permanent or regular updates of hardware and software to ensure the highest level of data protection.
